GAME DESIGN/ YEAR 2026

Inspired by the classic PS1 game Azure Dreams, I started developing Vesperion back in April 2026.

VESPERION GAME

Vesperion is my dream game, drawing heavy inspiration from the roguelike monster-taming mechanics of Azure Dreams on the PS1. I wanted to capture that nostalgic 32-bit aesthetic, combining town-building with procedural tower climbing and strategic grid-based combat. I started developing the engine and pixel assets back in April, designing the core loop.

PRODUCTION HALT

Unfortunately, production had to be halted because I recently became unemployed. Surviving and providing for my family had to take absolute priority, so development is paused. However, Vesperion is a passion project I fully intend to return to once stability returns. The designs, code branches, and visual assets are ready to go.
